Pascalle (MSc) holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science at Utrecht University. She possesses a background in climate and environmental modeling and atmospheric dynamics. She is motivated by improving the understanding of water and climate dynamics in order to predict and adapt to a changing climate.

During her academic research, Pascalle specialized in evaluating atmospheric datasets and moisture-tracking methodologies. Her thesis research concentrated on evaluating vertical velocity biases within the ECMWF ERA5 climate reanalysis dataset against high-resolution Doppler Lidar observations, examining their impacts on Lagrangian moisture tracking models for hydrological and atmospheric research. Furthermore, Pascalle has experience with modeling hazards, climate scenarios, and environmental systems. As the newest team member, Pascalle now brings her skills in moisture transport and data-driven environmental modeling to the FutureWater team.
